The Researchers from Ternopil National Medical University received the Volodymyr Luchakovskyi Award.

On the occasion of Local Self-Government Day, Ternopil annually presents the Volodymyr Luchakovskyi Awards, named after the first Ukrainian mayor of Ternopil.

The winners are recognized in three categories:

  • “The Future is Created Today”
  • “The Nation’s Cultural Heritage”
  • “Innovative Breakthrough of the Year”

The award honors individuals or teams who have significantly contributed to Ternopil’s innovative, technological, scientific, social, civic, or cultural development and shaped its positive image.

This year, the awards ceremony occurred on December 7, on Local Self-Government Day.

A team of researchers from I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University won in the category “The Future is Created Today.” Professor Andrii Tsviakh, Associate Professor Andrii Hospodarskyi, and Professor Oksana Shevchuk were honored for their work “Implementation of Specialized Medical Equipment and Treatment-Rehabilitation Methodologies for Providing Telemetric Assistance to Patients with Musculoskeletal Injuries.”
