NB! To optimize the work of the congress, some areas may be combined during the sectional meetings. This will ensure a more meaningful discussion and effective interaction of participants. Format and forms of participation The XXIX Congress of Students and Young Scientists “Future by Science” will be held in a mixed format:
- for participants from TNMU – offline (TNMU administrative building);
- for participants from other institutions – offline or online.
Official languages of the Congress: Ukrainian, English.
The following forms of participation are possible:
- oral presentation and publication of abstracts;
- poster presentation and publication of abstracts;
- publication of abstracts only;
- free listener.
Requirements for the oral presentation:
- presentation duration – up to 7 minutes;
- discussion – up to 5 minutes.
Cost of participation:
- active participation (oral or poster presentation and publication of abstracts) – 300 UAH;
- publication of abstracts only – 200 UAH;
- free listener – free of charge.
Active participants will receive a participant package. The file name with the electronic version of the abstract must contain the surname and first name of the first author. Requirements for theses
- works submitted for participation in the Congress must not have been previously published or submitted for publication in other publications;
- all abstracts are checked for plagiarism, the level of uniqueness must be at least 70%;
- maximum number of co-authors – 3;
- the volume of materials for printing (without title and authors) is from 2000 to 3000 characters (with spaces);
- names of pharmaceutical companies, equipment, and reagents are given in the original transcription; measurement results are in units of the International System (SI);
- all abbreviations (except for common ones) should be deciphered when first used;
- abstracts should not contain tables, figures and other graphic images, or a list of references.
Technical requirements: the text must be written in the Microsoft Office Word text editor (.docx); Times New Roman font, size 14, line spacing 1.0 Abstract preparation
- in the upper left corner of the first page, without a paragraph, the surname and first name of the author(s) are indicated in italics;
- below in the center the following information:
- title of the abstract (in bold, capital letters);
- the department where the work was done;
- academic degree, academic title, surname and initials of the scientific supervisor;
- university where the work was performed;
- city, country.
The text of the abstracts should be structured (mandatory structural elements are highlighted in bold):
- relevance;
- purpose;
- materials and methods;
- research results.
A sample of abstract design is posted on the website of the Scientific Society of Students of TNMU Abstracts prepared in violation of these requirements will not be accepted for publication in the collection. All abstracts accepted for publication will be published in the electronic collection of abstracts of the Congress and posted on the websites of the Scientific Society of Students and the Council of Young Scientists of the I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University. The author is responsible for the content of the submitted materials. The editorial staff will make no edits. The organizing committee is not responsible for any spelling or stylistic errors.
