Ukrainian Vechornytsi: The Magic of Traditions, Songs, and Cultural Unity!

On December 18, 2024, the Center for Educational Work and Cultural Development of TNMU, together with the Ukrainian Club (Marta Rudenko, Oksana Mysyk), the “Art-Drama” Theater Studio (led by Mariyana Varvaruk), and the TNMU University Choir (directed by Anton Shupa), organized a festive event for Ukrainian and international students.

Authentic Ukrainian vechornytsi brought the unforgettable atmosphere of winter holidays to life! Guests immersed themselves in the vibrant traditions of Ukrainian culture. The choir delivered incredible emotions through carols and folk songs.

Traditional fortune-telling, filled with laughter and fun, foretold only good things. The true highlight of the evening was the treat of hot varenyky. Our international friends—students from various corners of the world—enthusiastically joined in, singing Ukrainian songs and discovering the beauty of our culture.

We sincerely thank the “Art-Drama” Theater Studio and TNMU Choir members.

We also sincerely thank the student cafeteria complex for supporting student events and the Mental Health Center for enabling us to host this celebration.

Such gatherings unite, inspire, and highlight the value of our traditions. Thank you to everyone who participated, and we warmly invite you to join us at the next vechornytsi!
