TNMU Signs Cooperation Agreement with O. Herbachevskyi Zhytomyr Regional Clinical Hospital

On December 26, 2024, Oleksandr Veselovskyi, General Director of the O. Herbachevskyi Regional Clinical Hospital in Zhytomyr, visited I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University to formalize a cooperation agreement.

He met with TNMU Rector Professor Mykhailo Korda during his visit to discuss collaboration directions, future plans, and joint actions. Following their discussion, the agreement was signed, outlining the following objectives:

Enhancing the organization and quality of joint efforts in ensuring medical-diagnostic processes.

Coordinating efforts to provide qualified medical care to the population.

Increasing the efficiency of scientific research and integrating its results into practical applications.

Facilitating the training, retraining, and professional development of medical personnel, including hospital staff.

Implementing educational programs for higher and postgraduate education (including internships), continuous professional development programs for physicians, and scientific-pedagogical staff (thematic cycles, courses, internships, and advanced training).

Preparing scientific personnel through postgraduate and doctoral programs.

Conducting and implementing scientific research findings into practice and providing expert evaluations.

Developing and adopting new methods and technologies for patient diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and rehabilitation.

Studying and sharing best practices in medical care delivery.

Oleksandr Veselovskyi emphasized the importance of the partnership:
“We aspire for Ternopil National Medical University to become a foundational institution for our medical facility. With our joint efforts, we plan to organize scientific and practical conferences at the hospital and enable our specialists to enhance their professional qualifications. We are also pleased to welcome TNMU graduates as interns at our facility.”
