TNMU Warmly Congratulates Ivan Smiyan on His 96th Birthday!

The life of Ivan Smiyan has been closely tied to our university since 1970. For 33 years, he served as the head of a department, later becoming the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, and then, for 16 years, the Rector of Ternopil State Medical Institute. His tenure as Rector spanned from 1981 to 1997. Despite his venerable age, he continuously remembers our university, takes an active interest in its development and achievements, and follows the lives and successes of its students.

Today, Ivan Smiyan celebrates his 96th birthday! On this festive day, on behalf of the entire staff of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, please accept our heartfelt congratulations on your birthday.
