TNMU Students Receive Certificates of Appreciation and Medals for Active Citizenship, Patriotism, and Volunteer Initiative

A charity concert, “Together We Bring Light Despite the War,” was held at the Ternopil Regional Philharmonic to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the volunteer movement. This event was made possible with the support of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University.

Participants included students and volunteers from V. Hnatyuk Ternopil National Pedagogical University, I. Pulyuy Ternopil National Technical University, Western Ukrainian National University, I. Franko Ternopil Academic Lyceum “Ukrainian Gymnasium”, Ternopil Higher Vocational School of Service and Tourism, Secondary School No. 13, the public organization “Airborne-Cossack Hive,” and the “Zbruch” ensemble.

The concert’s first part featured performances by philharmonic artists, while the second part showcased the “Zbruch” ensemble and Vasyl Karapulka. TNMU students Sofiia Kukharchuk and Taras Stryivus, members of the “Ars” sports dance club, performed a beautiful rumba.

Student volunteers from the university-wide volunteer movement “Misericordia”—Kateryna Lushpynska, Iryna Dovhan, Anastasiia Zadoiona, Mariia Bilyk, Anastasiia Volosko, Iryna Kushnir, Diana Salyk, Karina Bishko, and Viktoriia Kalyn—received certificates of appreciation for their active citizenship, patriotism, and volunteer efforts.

Medical faculty student Stanislav Kozytskyi was awarded the Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Medal, while students Sofiia Kukharchuk and Anastasiia Pryvrotska received the “For Dignity and Patriotism” medals.

The event aimed to unite volunteers from Ternopil educational institutions and coordinate support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
