Representatives of the Youth Council under the Ministry of Health of Ukraine Met with TNMU Administration
On April 1, 2025, the Vice-Rector for Science and Education of Ternopil National Medical University, Professor Arkadii Shulhai, met with representatives of the Youth Council under the Ministry of Health of Ukraine—Marta Lesko, Ivanna Stefanchyshena, Valeriia Prudyus, and Taras Yatsunskyi.
Notably, Taras Yatsunskyi is a TNMU graduate who was an active student during his studies. For instance, in 2015, he conducted first-aid training sessions in Lysychansk for everyone interested as part of the All-Ukrainian Council of Resuscitation and Emergency Medical Care.

The meeting was constructive, allowing all participants to present their plans, achievements, and ongoing projects, as well as discuss important issues and challenges faced by students of medical universities.

Additionally, the discussion covered the engagement of young students in the healthcare system reform process, decision-making at the national level regarding changes in higher medical education, and other relevant topics.

It is important to note that the Youth Council under the Ministry of Health of Ukraine is a temporary advisory body established to involve active young people in implementing state health policy. The council provides proposals and recommendations to the Ministry of Health and ensures interaction with civil society institutions.
