The First Stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Physiology at TNMU
The Department of Physiology with Fundamentals of Bioethics and Biosafety hosted the first stage of the 2024-2025 All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Physiology.

In the first round, participants took tests covering four sections: Neurohumoral Regulation, Blood Physiology, Respiratory Physiology, and Circulatory Physiology. Each section consisted of six tasks.
Those who scored the highest advanced to the top nine participants and then competed for prizes by demonstrating practical skills. These included examining reflexes, measuring blood pressure and pulse, determining blood type using monoclonal antibodies, performing spirometry, analyzing spirograms, and recording and interpreting electrocardiograms.



The jury, consisting of Professor Stepan Vadziuk, Professor Nataliia Volkova, Associate Professor Ihor Papinko, Associate Professor Neonila Ziatkovska, Associate Professor Ihor Pankiv, and Associate Professor Oksana Ratynska, selected the winners. They carefully evaluated the participants’ theoretical knowledge and practical skills, ensuring a high level of competition.
The winners were:
