TNMU Medical Students Organized an Engaging Lecture for Schoolchildren

Recently, students of the Medical Faculty at TNMU organized an exciting event for the fourth-grade students of Ternopil Primary School No. 1. On the initiative of the lecturers from the Department of Foreign Languages, Nataliia Hantimurova and Tetiana Khvalyboha, a lecture titled “Microbes, Viruses, and the Power of Friendship” was delivered by the first-year students Veronika Baishur, Kateryna Finashko, Yelyzaveta Korytska, and Nazar Sukach.

The event was held in a fun, interactive format, which helped the children easily absorb important information about microbes and viruses. During the lecture, the pupils not only listened to fascinating facts but also actively participated in entertaining games and quizzes, eagerly answering questions. A particular highlight was the animated short “Mousie Myshko and the Dirty Paws”, which captured the children’s attention. The cartoon vividly illustrated the importance of hygiene and cleanliness, serving as a great addition to the lecture.

The children were very engaged and enthusiastic, and the students managed to create an atmosphere where everyone felt like part of one big, friendly team that cares about their health. At the end of the event, all participants left with positive emotions, new knowledge, and unforgettable impressions from the warm and engaging experience.

This event became a great example of how students can share their knowledge and inspire younger generations to lead healthy lifestyles and maintain important hygiene habits.
