The Mental Health Center of TNMU Cares About Students

On April 23, 2025, a group of students from the Medical Faculty (group MM-113), accompanied by their curator Nataliia Klymuk, visited the Mental Health Center of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University.

The center’s psychologist, Tetiana Husieva, gave the students a tour and explained the main areas and methods of the center’s work. She also highlighted the differences between the roles of a psychologist, psychiatrist, and psychotherapist.

The students explored the center’s page on social media and the university’s website. They learned what can help them in difficult situations and where to seek immediate psychological assistance when needed.

Additionally, there were various activities, including interacting with a therapeutic hedgehog, doing exercises, playing an entanglement game, drawing, and sharing hugs.

The meeting ended with positive feedback from both the students and the group curator, along with valuable insights into the importance of taking care of one’s mental health.
