“Elixir of Longevity” for Schoolchildren: TNMU Students Delivered an Educational Lecture at Ternopil School No. 6

As part of the numerous educational initiatives regularly carried out by students of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University among schoolchildren in Ternopil and other cities, a meeting recently took place at N. Yaremchuk Ternopil School-Lyceum No. 6.

First-year medical students Oleksandra Tymoshchuk and Daryna Zyshchuk, under the supervision of Professor Tetiana Khvalyboha from the Department of Foreign Languages, conducted an interactive lecture for 6th-grade students on the topic: “Health Day: The Impact of Lifestyle on Health. Components of the Elixir of Longevity.”

The event was dedicated to World Health Day, celebrated annually in April, with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of maintaining and strengthening health from an early age.

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, the schoolchildren learned about the interaction between physical, mental, and social health, the role of balanced nutrition, hygiene, physical activity, daily routines, and the power of positive emotions.

A particularly engaging moment was the lively “Myth or Truth” game, which helped the students humorously evaluate their lifestyles and reflect on what true health means. Thanks to the creative approach and genuine enthusiasm of the students, the event was easy-going, interesting, and informative.

The pupils were active, attentive, and open to new knowledge, and their teacher created a welcoming environment for a comfortable meeting. Such collaboration between the university and schools is invaluable, building a bridge between knowledge and inspiration, support and growth.

We sincerely thank the school administration for their warm welcome!
