Hemodialysis Machines Donated by Belgian Partners to the TNMU Educational and Research Institute of Nursing

The Educational and Research Institute of Nursing at I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University received two hemodialysis machines from its Belgian partners during the specialized (thematic) school “Modern Methods of Wound Treatment and Care,” which took place on April 14–15, 2025, at TNMU.

Thanks to this donation, students of the Institute of Nursing and all TNMU students now have the opportunity to learn how to operate hemodialysis machines. This is a valuable resource that will open up broad professional prospects and contribute to the personal development of our students as qualified and responsible healthcare professionals.

We sincerely thank our colleague from Belgium, Conny Verwink—an expert in palliative care—for organizing the donation of these machines, and for her support and significant contribution to the development of nursing in Ukraine!
