TNMU Participated in the 10th McMaster International Review Conference of Internal Medicine
From May 8 to 10, 2025, Ternopil National Medical University (TNMU) hosted a live broadcast of the 10th anniversary McMaster International Review Conference of Internal Medicine (MIRCIM), which took place in Krakow, Poland.

Thanks to the collaboration between TNMU and the Polish Institute for Evidence Based Medicine (PIEBM), our university was granted exclusive online access for faculty, healthcare professionals, interns, and students to join one of the most important global events highlighting the latest trends and evidence-based approaches in the diagnosis and treatment of common internal medicine conditions.
This large-scale congress was organized by McMaster University’s Department of Medicine and PIEBM, in cooperation with the European Federation of Internal Medicine (EFIM), the International Society of Internal Medicine (ISIM), and the Jagiellonian University Medical College, in partnership with over 40 national internal medicine societies worldwide, including the American College of Physicians (ACP).

The three-day congress featured 11 sessions and over 60 lectures, covering key specialties and major innovations in internal medicine. Participants had the unique opportunity to hear firsthand about the most recent studies and clinical practice recommendations—the very content that will soon be reflected in international guidelines and protocols.

Notable specialized sessions included:
- McMaster Annual Update in Cardiology 2025
- McMaster Annual Update in Diabetology & Endocrinology 2025
- McMaster Annual Update in Rheumatology 2025
- Artificial Intelligence in Medicine 2025
- Medical Education Forum 2025
- World Young Internists Competition 2025
We express our sincere thanks to our partners for the opportunity to access the latest innovations and updates, which will further contribute to the advancement of internal medicine practice in Ukraine.
