A Discussion on Access to Education for Children and Youth from Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Took Place at TNMU

On May 22, 2025, the Head of the Educational Center “Crimea/Donbas–Ukraine,” Svitlana Kucher, and the Executive Secretary of the Admission Committee, Ihor Drach, met with Liudmyla Bilovus, Chief Specialist of the Secretariat of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, and Viktoriia Konovalova, Regional Coordinator for Public Relations of the Commissioner.

The discussion focused on the presentation and review of a special report by the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, “On Access to Education for Children and Youth from the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.” Representatives of the TNMU Admission Committee also shared information about the university’s outreach efforts for applicants from temporarily occupied territories and made suggestions for improving the regulatory framework regarding the admission of such students.
