TNMU Faculty Participate in the XV Scientific and Practical Conference of the Ukrainian Association of Arrhythmologists

On May 14–16, 2025, the XV Scientific and Practical Conference of the Ukrainian Association of Arrhythmologists took place in Kyiv. The event brought together leading experts in the fields of clinical electrophysiology, cardiac pacing, and arrhythmology from across the country. Representing I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University were cardiologists Professor Marian Hrebenyk and Associate Professors Sofiia Masliy and Oksana Sydorenko.

The conference program covered a wide range of topics focused on modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. In particular, participants discussed current methods for risk stratification in patients with ventricular arrhythmias, innovative catheter ablation techniques for atrial fibrillation, and arrhythmia challenges in post-COVID syndrome, among others.

Professor Marian Hrebenyk, Head of the Department of Family Medicine at the Faculty of Postgraduate Education and an Honored Doctor of Ukraine, delivered a presentation on the use of Class IC antiarrhythmic drugs. He was honored with an award from the Ukrainian Association of Arrhythmologists in recognition of the association’s milestone XV conference.

During the event, all participants also celebrated Vyshyvanka Day.

Participation in the conference provided an opportunity to refresh professional knowledge, become familiar with new clinical guidelines, establish professional connections, and acquire useful materials for future educational and clinical activities.
