Associate Professor of the Human Anatomy Department Received the “Order of Queen Anne ‘Honor of the Fatherland'”

Associate Professor of the Department of Human Anatomy at Ternopil National Medical University, Oksana Ilkiv, received a prestigious international award on June 25, 2025.

Queen Anne is an outstanding historical figure and a symbol of unity between Ukrainian and European cultures. Anne was the daughter of Kyivan Prince Yaroslav the Wise and Queen of France. She left a significant mark on European history. In her honor, the international order “Order of Queen Anne ‘Honor of the Fatherland'” was established to recognize the contributions of prominent individuals to the development of culture, arts, education, business, science, economy, and international relations. The award is presented both in Ukraine and in France.

The Order of Queen Anne ‘Honor of the Fatherland’ is among the highest international civil awards in Ukraine and is bestowed with official ceremonial protocol.

The award was presented as part of the celebration of Constitution Day of Ukraine.
