I. Horbachevsky Prize Laureates Donate Award Funds to Support the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The winners of the I. Horbachevsky Prize competition have donated their award funds to the Volunteer Center of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The funds will be used to purchase items requested by military personnel.

The winners are:

  • In the category “Achievements in Research on Theoretical Medicine and Pharmacy”:
    S. Marchyshyn, L. Slobodyanyuk, and L. Budnyak for their study “Prospects for the Use of Ornamental and Introduced Plants in Ukraine for Pharmaceutical and Medical Purposes.”
  • In the category “Achievements in Research on Clinical Medicine and Dentistry”:
    O. Boyarchuk, O. Shulhai, T. Hariyan, L. Volianska, and N. Yarema for their work “Improving the Diagnosis of Primary Immunodeficiencies through Medical Staff Education, Increased Public Awareness, and Improved Infrastructure with the Implementation of Neonatal Screening for SCID.”
  • In the category “Achievements in Research on Social Sciences and Humanities”:
    A. Shulhai, N. Fedchyshyn, H. Klishch, L. Fedoniuk, and S. Hnatyshyn for their research “The Impact of War on the Mental Health of Youth in Ukraine.”
