Graduates of the Medical Faculty of TNMU Received Their Diplomas
On June 26, 2025, a graduation ceremony for the students of the Medical Faculty took place in Ternopil National Medical University. On this day, 35 Bachelor’s degree graduates in Physical Therapy, 37 Master’s degree graduates in Therapy and Rehabilitation, 359 Master’s degree graduates in Medicine, and 27 Master’s degree graduates in Public Health received their long-awaited diplomas.

The event began with the performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine and a tribute to those who gave their lives for the independence of our country.

After that, the Dean of the Medical Faculty, Professor Petro Lykhatskyi, expressed gratitude for their service to the Ukrainian people and for saving the lives of soldiers to two graduates — Sofiia Baliuk and Svitlana Berezna. On behalf of the university administration, Professor Lykhatskyi presented them with commemorative gifts.



Gratitude was also expressed to students who had regularly donated blood over an extended period. These included Ivan Lutsyk, Andrii Palamarchuk, and Arsen Poliakov.
“Blood donation is a noble cause that unites people of different ages, professions, and life paths for one great purpose — to help those in need. Your willingness to share a part of yourself for the sake of others’ health is a true act of heroism, especially in times of war. Thanks to your efforts, thousands of lives are saved every year, and people’s health is restored. May your good deeds return to you a hundredfold, and may your hearts always be filled with pride for your contribution to the common good. We sincerely thank you for your compassion, kindness, and concern,” said the Dean of the Medical Faculty.

In his congratulatory speech, Professor Lykhatskyi conveyed warm greetings and appreciation on behalf of the Rector of TNMU, Professor Mykhailo Korda, and the entire academic staff.




Graduates were also congratulated by the program directors:
Professor Oleksandra Oleshchuk, Head of the Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology (Program “General Medicine”),
Associate Professor Viktor Zavidniuk (Program “Physical Therapy”),
Professor Nataliia Terenda, Head of the Department of Public Health and Health Management (Program “Public Health”).

The official order granting the professional titles of physician, physical therapist, assistant physical therapist, and Master of Public Health was announced by the Vice-Dean of the Medical Faculty, Associate Professor Ihor Drach.

After the diploma awards, Dmytro Korolchuk read the oath.
Graduates delivering speeches on behalf of their respective programs included:
- Maksym Voitsekhovskyi – General Medicine,
- Oleksandr Pohudyn – Therapy and Rehabilitation,
- Tetiana Martynyshyn – Public Health,
- Ivan Kozyriiev – Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy.
