TNMU Inspires Schoolchildren to Explore the World of Science

Students from the summer camp Present Simple had a wonderful opportunity to visit I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, where they were warmly welcomed by the Department of General Chemistry.

Associate Professor Iryna Bekus turned an ordinary day into a true scientific celebration by demonstrating vibrant and spectacular experiments. The children witnessed a “waking volcano” erupt right in the lab, learned how to sustain a flame, and even saw snow created in the middle of summer — all accompanied by engaging explanations.

Thanks to these experiments, the young visitors discovered the fascinating world of chemistry from a fresh perspective, felt its magic, and perhaps found their first spark of inspiration to pursue science in the future.
