Ternopil Charity Otolaryngology Symposium Brings Together Ukraine’s Leading Specialists
On August 8–9, 2025, the Ternopil Charity Otolaryngology Symposium, organized by the “Lorimed” Medical Center, took place in Ternopil. This conference became a platform for sharing professional experience and fostering development, during which over 300 otolaryngologists from various Ukrainian cities exchanged their achievements, improved practical skills, and defined further priority directions for the advancement of the field.
As part of the forum, online broadcasts of four real surgeries (endoscopic rhinosurgery and otosurgery) were held, giving all participants the opportunity to learn in action.

The official opening of the event was attended by academician and Vice President of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Director of the O. Kolomiichenko Institute of Otolaryngology Dmytro Zabolotnyi; Rector of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University Mykhailo Korda; Mayor of Ternopil Serhiy Nadal; Director of the Health Department of Ternopil Regional Military Administration Olha Yarmolenko; and Member of the Ukrainian Parliament Volodymyr Hevko.

Events like this help create a space for constructive dialogue, the development of professional medicine, and effective partnerships between the state, science, and practice.

It is especially significant that all proceeds from conference participation were donated to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. When medical professionals unite not only for professional growth but also to help our defenders, it is a true testament to the strength of the Ukrainian community.
