Extension of the Memorandum of Cooperation with the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health, University of Manchester

Ternopil National Medical University and the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health of the University of Manchester (UK) have extended their Memorandum of Cooperation for the next five years.

Since 2022, we have been collaborating within the Twin for Hope program initiated by the Cormack Consultancy Group. Over these years, the partner universities have developed fruitful cooperation to support the quality of academic education during the war. This included a series of webinars and workshops delivered by University of Manchester faculty members for TNMU lecturers, focusing on various aspects of teaching practice, student engagement, publishing educational articles and clinical cases in high-quality peer-reviewed journals, and more. TNMU lecturers also gained access to internal resources of the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health at the University of Manchester.

For the second consecutive year, groups of five TNMU students have participated in the University of Manchester Medical Summer Schools. This year, Professor Oksana Shevchuk, Head of the Department of Research Project Management and Partnership Coordinator, was invited by colleagues from the UK to attend the closing ceremony of the summer schools.
