Solemn Matriculation Ceremony for Students of “Therapy and Rehabilitation” and “Clinical Psychology” Specialities Held at TNMU

On August 31, 2025, the Faculty of Medicine of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University solemnly welcomed 93 students of the “Therapy and Rehabilitation” program and 50 students of the “Clinical Psychology” program. The event began with a moment of silence to honor the memory of the heroes who gave their lives for Ukraine’s independence.

The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Professor Petro Lykhatskyi, addressed the students with a welcoming speech:
“Dear students, congratulations on this important step in your life! You have chosen highly demanded and humane professions. Your knowledge and skills will be essential for restoring people’s health and peace of mind. I wish you inspiration, patience, and success in your studies so that you become true professionals, capable of bringing hope and help to those who need it.”

First-year students were also greeted by Anastasiia Bai, the program director of “Therapy and Rehabilitation”:
“I am glad to welcome you on your path to mastering a profession that helps people return to a full life. This is a very responsible mission, and I believe you will fulfill it with dignity. I wish you to achieve all your goals and proudly carry the title of student of our university.”

Students also received guidance from Tetiana Husieva, the program director of “Clinical Psychology”:
“You have chosen the path of exploring and helping the human soul. It is a challenging but extremely fascinating profession. May your knowledge and empathy become a source of strength for your future patients.”

The solemn student oath of TNMU was read by the Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Associate Professor Ihor Drach.
