TNMU Develops the “Prosthetics and Orthotics” Educational Program with the Participation of Austrian Experts

On September 8, 2025, Ternopil National Medical University welcomed a working visit from Martin Mühlbacher, Counselor for Social Affairs, Health, Care, and Consumer Protection at the Embassy of Austria in Ukraine; Prof. Hubert Egger of the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria; and Daryna Borynska, representative of the Lviv office of OeAD (Austrian Agency for Education and Internationalisation).

During the meeting with TNMU Acting Rector Prof. Mykhaylo Korda, Martin Mühlbacher discussed opportunities for coordinating cooperation in the field of preserving the mental health of Ukrainians. Thanks to his support and assistance, collaboration between Austrian prosthetics and orthotics experts and TNMU has significantly developed.

Prof. Hubert Egger also had the opportunity to finalize his lecture plan for students of the “Prosthetics and Orthotics” specialty, as well as the schedule of practical classes and examinations.
