TNMU Paramedic Students Conduct First Aid Workshop for Preschoolers

On September 23, students of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University held an educational workshop for children of Ternopil Preschool Educational Institution (nursery-kindergarten) No. 3. The event was conducted by second-year paramedic students:

Kateryna Panasiuk;

Alina Arkhytko;

Kateryna Kryvenka;

Maryna Kushnirenko.

Future emergency medicine professionals presented the importance of providing first aid in a simple and playful manner. The children had the opportunity to try basic resuscitation measures — performing chest compressions on mannequins. They also learned how to stop critical bleeding using a tourniquet and wound packing.

Such activities not only help children understand the importance of first aid in everyday life but also foster responsibility and mutual assistance skills from an early age.

We sincerely hope that in the future, the young participants of this workshop will become our applicants and continue their studies within the walls of TNMU.
