Psychological Resilience of Specialists in Psychiatry: Developing Resilience Skills
On October 10, 2025, an event titled “Psychological Resilience of Specialists in Psychiatry: Developing Resilience Skills” was held at the Ternopil Psychoneurological Hospital of the Ternopil Regional Council. The event was organized with the participation of faculty members from the Department of Psychiatry, Narcology, and Medical Psychology of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University.

The aim of the event was to enhance the psychological resilience of healthcare professionals, develop resilience skills, prevent professional burnout, and promote self-help resource strategies among doctors and psychologists who work daily in the challenging field of psychiatric care.
During the meeting, participants discussed mechanisms for developing stress resistance, practiced techniques of emotional self-regulation, shared personal experiences of overcoming professional challenges, and explored ways to maintain mental health within a team.

The event took place in an atmosphere of openness, mutual support, and professional enrichment. Special attention was given to preserving the psychological balance of healthcare workers during wartime, when the need for resilient and resourceful professionals is especially urgent.
We express our gratitude to the administration of the Ternopil Psychoneurological Hospital for their support in organizing the event, as well as to all participants for their engagement, professional interest, and commitment to continuous development!
