Information and Sports Event “On the Same Wave”

On October 18, 2025, an information and sports event dedicated to adaptive sports took place in Ternopil. The event was held at the sports and recreation complex of the Children and Youth Sports School for Team Sports, located at 4 Brativ Boichukiv Street.

The event aimed to unite veterans, female veterans, and professionals working with war veterans and demobilized individuals. During the event, participants learned about adaptive sports actively developing in Ternopil, communicated with athletes and coaches, and learned about their experiences and sources of inspiration.

Everyone had the opportunity to take part in adaptive sports workshops, including sitting volleyball, wheelchair basketball, boccia, and functional training.

The event was organized by the Ternopil City Council, the Department of Sports Development and Physical Culture of the Ternopil City Council, the Ternopil City Center for Public Physical Health, the Center for Veteran and Hero Family Support, and the Basketball Club “Ternopil.”

Ternopil National Medical University (TNMU) was proudly represented by Associate Professors of the Department of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Education — Nataliia Davybida and Liubov Novakova — as well as 2nd- and 3rd-year students of the “Therapy and Rehabilitation” specialty: Viktoriia Zahorna, Kateryna Nazarchuk, Tetiana Vyliotnik, and Mykhailo Opolskyi.
