TNMU Becomes a Partner of the Erasmus+ ARIVE International Project

I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University has joined a new international Erasmus+ KA2 Capacity Building in Higher Education project — “Advancing Research and Innovation in Higher Education through Virtual Exchanges (ARIVE)”.

The ARIVE project (ERASMUS-EDU-2025-VIRT-EXCH-101250610) brings together a consortium of universities and research institutes from the European Union and Eastern Partnership countries to create an innovative environment for international collaboration in research and education.

The ARIVE consortium includes:

  1. Riga Technical University (Latvia) — project coordinator;
  2. Tbilisi Medical Academy named after P. Shotadze (Georgia);
  3. Ilia State University (Georgia);
  4. I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University (Ukraine);
  5. University of Minho (Portugal);
  6. University of South-Eastern Norway (Norway);
  7. Institute of Food Biotechnology and Genomics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Ukraine);
  8. University of Business and Technology (Georgia).

Within the framework of the project, immersive Virtual Research Semesters (VRS), digital mentorship programs, and open-access educational resources will be developed. Through a centralized virtual platform, students and young researchers will be able to participate in project-based research, complete AI-driven learning modules, and collaborate with faculty and peers from partner universities through cross-border virtual exchanges.

The total budget of the project is €500,000, and its implementation period spans 2025–2028.

The ARIVE project will contribute to building a digital academic ecosystem, opening new opportunities for international scientific collaboration, strengthening research skills among students and young scientists, and fostering innovative education in higher education institutions of Ukraine and partner countries.

It is worth noting that TNMU is currently implementing six Erasmus+ KA2 projects. надала Тетяна Ковальчук.
