Scheduled Meeting of the TNMU Academic Council Held

On November 25, 2025, under the chairmanship of Acting Rector, Professor Mykhailo Korda, a scheduled meeting of the TNMU Academic Council took place.

Before the meeting, in a ceremonial setting, Mykhailo Korda awarded PhD diplomas to Iryna Dzikh and Oleksandr Zemlyak.

The first item on the agenda was competitive matters. Information about the candidates for department head positions and academic ranks was provided by Professor Illia Herasymiuk, the Academic Secretary.

As a result of secret voting, the following were elected as department heads:

Olena Lototska – Department of General Hygiene and Ecology

Natalia Terenda – Department of Public Health and Health Care Management

Maria Shanaida – Department of Pharmacognosy with Medical Botany

Following secret voting, the academic rank of Professor was awarded to Svitlana Pidruchna (Department of Medical Biochemistry).

The academic rank of Associate Professor was awarded to:

Natalia Hantimurova – Department of Foreign Languages

Volodymyr Radchuk – Department of Therapeutic Dentistry

Yuliia Yakymchuk – Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, FPO

Anastasiia Bai – Department of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Education

Iryna Stakhurska – Department of Microbiology, Virology, and Immunology

The agenda item “Discussion and approval of the state-funded research project report: ‘Application of Regenerative Medicine Technologies for the Treatment of Chronic Wounds’” and “Publication activity of Doctors of Science in journals indexed by Scopus and Web of Science” was presented by the scientific supervisor of the state-funded project, Professor Oksana Shevchuk.

The report on students’ research work and ways to improve it was presented by Victoria Miroshnyk, Head of the Student Scientific Society.
