Preparation for the Accreditation of the Educational and Professional Program “Dentistry”

A meeting of the working group on preparing for the accreditation of the educational and professional program “Dentistry” of the second (master’s) level of higher education in the specialty 221 “Dentistry” within the field of knowledge 22 “Health Care” took place.

Preparation for the accreditation of the educational and professional program (EPP) includes the creation, analysis, and systematization of documents that confirm the program’s compliance with state requirements and educational standards.

The meeting participants thoroughly analyzed the algorithm for preparing the EPP accreditation, the current state of forming the accreditation file, and the specifics of preparing the self-evaluation report. They discussed the innovations introduced in the new regulation “On the Accreditation of Educational Programs for Training Higher Education Applicants,” approved by the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 686 dated May 15, 2024.

During the meeting, the criteria for evaluating the quality of the educational program were examined in detail, particularly the content of the educational and professional program for training higher education applicants.

The participants emphasized the importance of coordinated cooperation between students and the university administration. Open communication plays a crucial role in enhancing the educational program and ensuring that it meets the modern standards of medical education. The meeting participants jointly identified priority tasks for ensuring the quality of higher education, emphasizing the need for maximum effort to showcase all the program’s strengths and effectively prepare students.

The guarantor of the educational and professional program, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry Svitlana Boitsaniuk, expressed gratitude to all members of the working group for their efforts and hopes for continued cooperation. Only joint, motivated work ensures the successful completion of the accreditation process and achieves positive results.
