The Implementation of the ERASMUS+ Project LIFESTRAND “Training and Dissemination of Emergency Care Skills for Higher Education Institutions and Communities from Combat Zones in Ukraine and Georgia” Continues to Expand
Project trainers organized a series of training sessions for various educational and professional communities in the Ternopil region. The training activities reached participants from several institutions:

- On November 6, a group of 31 participants from the I. Franko Ternopil Academic Lyceum “Ukrainian Gymnasium” completed the training.
- On November 8, a group of 20 representatives from Volodymyr Hnatiuk Ternopil National Pedagogical University joined the training.
- On November 25, a session was held for 9 trainees of the MONE Laser Cosmetology Clinic.
- On November 26, the training covered 53 students and teachers of the Horodnytsia Gymnasium of the Skalatska City Council, Ternopil region.

During the training, participants acquired a wide range of skills necessary for an effective response in emergency situations. The program included modern techniques of basic life support in adults using an automated external defibrillator, actions in cases of mechanical asphyxia and sudden loss of consciousness, methods for controlling critical bleeding, as well as fundamentals of trauma care and proper immobilization of fractures.

The sessions were accompanied by hands-on practice of algorithms in realistic scenarios, allowing participants to apply the knowledge they had acquired in conditions that closely resembled possible situations in everyday and professional life.
