A Professor of TNMU Took Part in a Professional Visit at the Invitation of the Charité Clinic
The Head of the Department of Neurology at I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, an expert in the specialty “Neurology” of the Ternopil Regional State Administration Department of Health, Professor Svitlana Shkrobot, undertook a professional visit at the invitation of the Charité clinic (Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Germany) to participate in the SOLOMYA Coordination Meeting (“Solomiya Coordination Meeting”), held on December 1–3, 2025, within the framework of the Memorandum signed between the Charité clinic and leading medical institutions of Ukraine.

Representatives from medical universities and clinics in Ukraine were invited to the meeting.
This event brought together strategic partnership and practical clinical experience, which is extremely important for optimizing neurological and psychiatric care in Ukraine.
During the coordination meeting, leading researchers from various regions of Ukraine shared their practical experience and the results of international cooperation.

The meeting featured highly interesting presentations by Valerii Miasoiedov, MD, PhD, Professor, Rector of Kharkiv National Medical University; Andrii Vilenskyi, Medical Director of the “SUPERHUMANS” Rehabilitation Center; representatives of the Kharkiv Institute of Neurology, Psychiatry and Narcology, headed by Director Professor Ihor Linskyi; Professor Nataliia Maruta and PhD Tamara Panko; as well as Professor Olena Khaustova, Head of the Department of Medical Psychology at O.O. Bohomolets National Medical University, and Professor Liudmyla Rakhman, Head of the Department of Psychiatry at Lviv National Medical University.

Professor Svitlana Shkrobot delivered a presentation on her experience in providing highly specialized (including rehabilitation) medical care at the only regional stroke center, the “STROKE CENTER,” and shared her experience of effective communication and fruitful cooperation with international partners in the aforementioned fields.
During the visit to the Charité clinic, the participants visited several outpatient and inpatient departments and became acquainted with some of the latest medical technologies, including rehabilitation technologies.
