The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Has Adopted Law of Ukraine No. 10392 “On Academic Integrity”

The Law “On Academic Integrity” defines the values, fundamental principles, and rules of academic integrity; establishes the types of violations, procedures for their consideration, response mechanisms, and sanctions; and clearly delineates the responsibilities of individuals and institutions.

For the first time, the Law establishes unified and comprehensive legislative boundaries of academic integrity within the education and science system—from general secondary education to higher education, science, scientific research, expert evaluation, and the awarding of academic degrees and academic titles.

The document clearly defines liability for violations of academic integrity, ranging from disciplinary reprimands to the revocation of academic titles.
