HONORABLE COLLEAGUES!

 The Organizing Committee of the Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation, “Current Issues in Higher Medical Education for Developing Practical Skills and Competencies of General Practitioners – Family Doctors”, has the honor to invite you to participate in its work.  Dates: February 27–28, 2025.

The conference is registered in the DNP “Testing Center” of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, registration number BPR – 1004911, as well as in the DNU “UINTEI” – Certificate dated 12.26.2024 – No. 837.

 

SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM:

  1. Current competencies in the medical education system for primary healthcare specialists.
  2. Developing competencies in the context of distance learning.
  3. Convenient and effective formats for continuous professional development for practicing physicians.
  4. Key issues in the work of family doctors and nurses during crisis situations (e.g., in wartime and the COVID-19 pandemic).
  5. Modern approaches to diagnosing and treating the most common internal organ diseases in family practice, presented in teaching during uncertain times.
  6. Protocol standards and adjuvant opportunities for personalized patient management in outpatient practice and their reflection in teaching.
  7. Presentation of the textbook “General Practice – Family Medicine (for Higher Medical Education Students)”.

SUBMISSION OF ARTICLES TO THE JOURNAL

For the publication of scientific papers (articles) in professional periodicals (scientific journals) of Ternopil National Medical University (TNMU), please contact the editorial office.

Phone: +38 (0352) 434956. Full information on the journals (submission guidelines, citation indices, etc.) can be found on the website.

Authors must register as both readers and authors (check the respective box) under the selected journal and submit their manuscripts online.

A payment invoice will be sent to the email address after the material is accepted for publication.

 

Publication Conditions:

Articles, literature reviews, and clinical cases must comply with the requirements of the “Clinical and Experimental Medicine Achievements” journal. Author information, including affiliation, position, academic degree, rank, full name, address, phone number, and email addresses, should be provided below the manuscript text.

Detailed submission requirements are available on the journal’s official page: Author Guidelines.

Manuscript length:

Original articles (including tables, figures, references, and abstract): minimum 5 pages.

Problematic articles, literature reviews, or lectures: up to 12 pages.

Short articles under the sections “Problem View” and “Case from Practice”: up to 5 pages, including abstract and references.

Manuscripts may be written in Ukrainian or English and printed on one side of an A4 sheet, with 1800–2000 characters per page. Formatting:

Margins: Top and Bottom – 2.5 cm, Left – 3 cm, Right – 1.5 cm.

Font: Times New Roman, size 14 pt, line spacing 1.5.

Tables must have short headings and separate numbering. Repetition of data in tables and figures is not allowed.

Charts and graphs are recommended to be created in Microsoft Excel.

Small illustrations may be embedded in the text.

For formulas, it is preferable to use Microsoft Equation Editor.

Articles must follow the DSTU 3008-95 standard for scientific and technical documentation and be structured as follows:

UDC (Universal Decimal Classification).

Title (in uppercase), authors’ initials and last names, full institution name (in three languages).

Abstracts in Ukrainian and English (250–300 words each), structured to include the title, aim, materials and methods, results, and conclusions.

Keywords in Ukrainian and English (up to 8 words).

Structure:

Introduction: Define the problem, its significance, analysis of prior research, and unresolved aspects.

Objective of the Study.

Materials and Methods: Describe the object of study, methodologies, and statistical analysis with reliability criteria. For experimental work, specify the species, gender, number of animals, anesthesia methods, and euthanasia techniques.

Results and Discussion: Present and substantiate findings, compare with similar data, and provide interpretations.

Conclusions and Future Perspectives.

References: Listed in the order of citation, with traditional and international formatting for foreign databases (REFERENCES).

Cost of Publication:

The fee is determined by the editorial office, approximately 140 UAH per 1800 characters (1 page), including DOI assignment.
