TNMU Receives State Funding for Three Important Research Projects

I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University confidently enters the new year, demonstrating strong performance in research funding. According to Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine No. 98 dated January 27, 2026, our university has received state support for the implementation of three strategically important projects, namely:

  • “Improving the Diagnosis and Prevention of Tick-Borne Infections in Wartime within the One Health Concept,”
  • “Biochemical and Neurohumoral Mechanisms of Endothelial Dysfunction in Military Personnel with PTSD as a Basis for Diagnosis and Correction,”
  • “A Multimodal Approach to the Diagnosis of 22q11.2 Deletion Syndrome in Children and Optimization of Medical Care.”

The total budget for these three projects amounts to almost 3.22 million UAH.

This achievement was made possible by the coordinated work of the university’s researchers and the overall success of the higher education institution.

Young researchers and PhD students are involved in carrying out the studies. This will not only help address pressing medical challenges but also significantly strengthen TNMU’s human resource potential by providing young scientists with space for professional growth and innovation.

We extend our sincere gratitude to every researcher who contributed to the preparation of these projects. We continue working for the benefit of Ukrainian science and medicine!
