TNMU Students Took Part in the Second National Forum of Talented Youth and Were Awarded the President of Ukraine’s Scholarship

On January 23, 2026, a large-scale event — the Second National Forum of Talented Youth — took place in Kyiv with the participation of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The forum brought together more than 600 of the most talented young Ukrainians from across the country.

Students of the Medical Faculty of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, Anastasiia Panchak, and Andrii Litvinchuk, took part in the event. They were able to join the forum thanks to their outstanding achievements. Anastasiia won third place at the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Ukrainian Language and Literature, while Andrii took second place at the All-Ukrainian Olympiad in Biology. For these achievements, the students were also awarded the President of Ukraine’s scholarship.

Overall, the forum participants included winners of international and national Olympiads, participants in the WRO 2025 Robotics Olympiad, graduates with the highest results in the National Multisubject Test (NMT), medalists of the 2025 Youth Olympic Games, and young scientists.

During the forum, students had the opportunity to ask the President of Ukraine questions. Volodymyr Zelenskyi spoke with the talented youth, shared his vision of Ukraine’s future, and emphasized the importance of their role in the country’s recovery.

“We are grateful to you for being in Ukraine, and this is true. I believe we must first and foremost be grateful to our military. Thanks to them, Ukraine exists. And secondly, we are grateful to you. You give this energy and motivation to fight for what Ukraine is. Ukraine is, above all, our freedom and our people,” the Head of State noted.

TNMU students also listened to speeches by prominent figures in science, education, and sports in Ukraine. In particular, the talented youth communicated with the Minister of Education and Science, Oksen Lisovyi, and the Minister of Youth and Sports, Matvii Bidnyi. The speech by Yevhen Dykyi and an online connection with scientists from the Ukrainian Antarctic Akademik Vernadsky Research Station were also especially engaging. The experience of communicating with scientists, military personnel, influential figures, and other forum participants provided inspiration and energy for further achievements in medicine.
