Knowing Your Rights and Responsibilities: Paramedic Students Held an Educational Event on University Regulations

On February 12, 2026, a meeting initiated by future paramedics for their peers took place in Academic Building No. 6 of the Educational and Research Institute of Modeling and Analysis of Pathological Processes at the Department of Emergency and Simulation Medicine. Paramedic students in group PBv-131 (academic advisor: Professor Arsen Hudyma) organized an event for their course dedicated to a detailed review of the institution’s regulatory documentation.

The main purpose of the meeting was to familiarize students with the rules governing the educational process and interaction within the university community. Participants discussed students’ rights and responsibilities in accordance with the university’s internal regulations (presented by Alina Kizlo and Khrystyna Mokhnata), communication mechanisms between students and administration during knowledge assessment (Iryna Yakovleva), ethical standards (Valentyn Halela), prevention of bullying and conflict situations (Vladyslav Zakharchuk, Vitalii Oleshchuk, Diana Osatiuk, Yaryna Slivinska, Ivanna Cherniuk), and also talked about the importance of teamwork (Yana Romanovych, Viktoriia Anheliuk).

The guest of the event was Taras Piatkovskyi, Head of the Center for the Prevention of Discrimination and Harassment. He actively participated in the discussion, offering professional comments on mechanisms to protect students’ rights.

Despite the seriousness of the topics, the event was held in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Students had the opportunity to ask questions openly, engage in discussions, and share their ideas for improving interactions within the university.

We thank group PBv-131 for their responsible approach and active civic engagement!
