TNMU Department of Physiology and Medical Students Joined the “Golden Ribbon” Charity Campaign
On February 15, the world marks International Childhood Cancer Day, when everyone who cares wears a symbolic “golden ribbon.” This day of solidarity and support for children with cancer and their families was established in 2002 and is observed in more than 90 countries across five continents.
This year, students of Ternopil National Medical University (MM-201, 202, 205, 207, 209, 210, 213, 215, 217, 219, 220, 233, 234; SS-203; TR-105, 202; MBv-141, 142, 143) joined the initiative together with faculty members of the Department of Physiology with Bioethics.

The greatest activity was shown by future doctors from groups MM-210 and MM-233. Thanks to their joint charitable efforts, nearly 5,000 UAH was raised and transferred to the charitable foundation “With God in the Heart.” In commemoration of this initiative, the foundation presented each participant with a symbolic golden ribbon — a sign of support, unity, and shared compassion amid the difficult life trials these children face.
