The Second Stage of the All-Ukrainian Competition-Defense of Research Projects of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the Sections “Computer Engineering” and “Software Engineering” Took Place
The second stage of the All-Ukrainian competition-defense of research projects by student members of the Junior Academy of Sciences (JAS) of Ukraine was held at the Ternopil Regional Communal Territorial Department of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine from February 13 to 25, 2026. The head of the jury in the sections “Computer Engineering” and “Software Engineering” was Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Medical Informatics at I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, Andrii Sverstiuk.

In the “Computer Engineering” section, the following participants presented their projects:
Vitalii Slivinskyi, a student of the Husiatyn Professional College of TNTU, with the project “An Intelligent Platform for Monitoring Sensor Parameters with a Voice Interaction Function.”

Vitalii Labunets, an 11th-grade student of Viacheslav Chornovil Halytskyi Professional College, with the project “An Automated Waste Container with Fill-Level Monitoring Based on an Optical Sensor.”

Illia Shportak, a 10th-grade student of Zalishchyky State Gymnasium, with the project “CLIMINO – Indoor Microclimate Control.”

In the “Software Engineering” section, the following participants presented their projects:
Valerii Ilchyk, a 10th-grade student of Buchach Lyceum of the Buchach City Council, with the project “Development of a Program for Monitoring Currency Dynamics in Real Time.”

Maksym Hnatiuk, a 9th-grade student of the general secondary education institution in Husiatyn, with the project “Development of the Volunteer Way Information System.”

Andrii Tymchuk, a 10th-grade student of Zalishchyky State Gymnasium, with the project “Development of a Modular Environmental Monitoring System Based on the ESP32 Microcontroller with Centralized Server-Side Data Processing and Storage.”
Nazarii Tysh, an 11th-grade student of the Ivan Franko Ternopil Academic Lyceum “Ukrainian Gymnasium”, with the project “Creation of a Messenger Based on the Invisible Internet Project.”

The research projects of Illia Shportak and Nazarii Tysh were recommended for the III stage of the All-Ukrainian Competition-Defense of Research Projects of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the 2025/2026 academic year, which will take place in Kyiv.
