Ternopil National Medical University Expands Areas of Cooperation with O. Herbachovskyi Zhytomyr Regional Clinical Hospital

On March 6, 2026, the General Director of O. Herbachovskyi Zhytomyr Regional Clinical Hospital, Oleksandr Veselovskyi, visited Ternopil National Medical University with his colleagues to discuss expanding cooperation and sign an agreement.

Oleksandr Veselovskyi met with the Rector of TNMU, Professor Petro Lykhatskyi, and discussed a number of proposals whose implementation will significantly strengthen cooperation, enhance clinical work through scientific research, and allow students of Ternopil National Medical University to become more involved in the hospital’s clinical activities.

During the meeting, the participants discussed improving the effectiveness of research activities and implementing their results in practical work, as well as involving the hospital’s specialists in TNMU’s scientific projects. This will help achieve effective synergy between science and practice.

Petro Lykhatskyi proposed regularly conducting practical classes for the university’s students using telemedicine technologies, including the analysis of clinical cases. For his part, Oleksandr Veselovskyi expressed a wish to recommend O. Herbachovskyi Zhytomyr Regional Clinical Hospital as a place for internships and practical training.

“We aim to have talented young doctors on our team who are ready to work and develop. We will be happy to help form a new generation of medical professionals from their student years onward. We will always find opportunities to create favorable conditions for work and development,” Oleksandr Veselovskyi added.
