Friendly Volleyball Match “Shoulder to Shoulder”

On March 9, 2026, as part of the preparation for the All-Ukrainian student competition “Shoulder to Shoulder,” the women’s volleyball team of Ternopil National Medical University (TNMU) held a friendly match with the team of Ivan Puluj Ternopil National Technical University (TNTU).

The “Shoulder to Shoulder” competitions are organized at the initiative of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, with the support of the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, as well as national sports organizations (federations, associations, etc.).

The project aims to promote and develop mass student sports, foster a sustainable culture of physical activity, increase student participation in sports, and create conditions for strengthening young people’s physical and psychological health.

In total, 23 student teams from the Ternopil region have been formed to represent their universities in the competitions. TNMU has also prepared its teams to participate in the upcoming sporting events.
