The State Migration Service and TNMU Discussed New Areas of Cooperation

The Head of the Department of the State Migration Service of Ukraine in Ternopil Oblast, Yaroslav Davybida, and the Head of Department No. 1 of the SMS, Liudmyla Luzhniak, met on March 18, 2026, with the Rector of Ternopil National Medical University, Professor Petro Lykhatskyi, and the Vice-Rector for Science and Education, Professor Arkadiy Shulhai, with the aim of strengthening cooperation.

During the meeting, the parties discussed improving the mechanisms of interaction between the government institution and the higher education establishment.

TNMU is one of the region’s leaders in the number of international students; therefore, coordination with the migration service is critically important.
