TNMU Expands Cooperation with Lesya Ukrainka Ternopil Educational Complex “Secondary School I–III Levels – Medical Lyceum No. 15”

On March 20, 2026, the Director of the Lesya Ukrainka Ternopil Educational Complex “Secondary School I–III Levels – Medical Lyceum No. 15” Oksana Mazurenok, met with the Rector of TNMU, Professor Petro Lykhatskyi. The main purpose of the visit was to discuss strategic plans and expand the horizons of cooperation between the country’s leading medical university and its long-standing partner.

The meeting was also attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Svitlana Kucher, and the Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee, Oksana Lebid.

Cooperation between Ternopil National Medical University and the lyceum has deep roots and a long history. For many years, the institutions have jointly trained the future medical elite, helping lyceum students understand the responsibility and nobility of the medical profession from an early age.

Special attention during the meeting was given to organizing educational events and workshops, as well as updating formats for introducing lyceum students to the university’s educational opportunities and clinical facilities.

Both sides expressed a sincere desire to launch large-scale joint initiatives to promote a healthy lifestyle and medical education among the youth of Ternopil.
