TNMU Students Fostered Interuniversity Dialogue with Biotechnology Students from Uzhhorod National University

On April 28, 2026, I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University became a platform for exchanging experiences among active youth from leading universities in Ukraine.

The visit of biotechnology students from Uzhhorod National University took place within the framework of their studies under an academic mobility program at the Faculty of Chemistry and Biology of Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University. The meeting was initiated by the Head of the TNMU Student Parliament, Oleksandr Mihenko.

The introduction route to TNMU was focused on priority areas for future biotechnologists, including:

• The laboratory facilities of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Pharmacy are located at 32 Ruska Street. The guests were welcomed by the Institute of Pharmacy’s Director, Associate Professor Dmytro Korobko. Students explored the institute’s modern laboratories and learned about the technological opportunities available for scientific research;
• the anatomical facilities of the university’s morphological building, where Assistant of the Department of Human Anatomy Volodymyr Buryi conducted a tour of the anatomical museum.

In addition to exploring the university’s material and technical base, participants discussed prospects for continuing their studies at TNMU at the master’s level. However, the key outcome of the meeting was the establishment of horizontal connections between students. The participants agreed to collaborate on future scientific and educational projects.
