TNMU and the Mazovia Academy of Applied Sciences Expand Cooperation in Nursing

On May 4, 2026, Tetiana Andrukhiv, Vice-Rector for International Relations at the Mazovia Academy of Applied Sciences (Republic of Poland), paid a working visit to Ternopil National Medical University. She met with TNMU Rector, Professor Petro Lykhatskyi, Vice-Rector for Science and Education, Professor Arkadii Shulhai, and Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Nursing, Associate Professor Svitlana Danchak.

The meeting focused on expanding cooperation between TNMU and the Mazovia Academy of Applied Sciences in the development of nursing education and the nursing sector. The parties discussed exchanging experiences, implementing innovative approaches to training mid-level healthcare professionals, and strengthening international partnerships and joint educational initiatives.

The sides also discussed the possibility for TNMU Nursing students to obtain dual degrees. This would enable graduates to receive European-standard diplomas, significantly expanding their career opportunities.
