TNMU Professor Participated in the Founding Meeting of the Coordination Council on Open Science
On June 5, 2026, during the Sixth National Forum on Open Science and Improvement of Research Assessment within the framework of the Erasmus+ CBHE OPEN4UA project, the founding meeting of the Coordination Council on Open Science under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine took place.

Professor Oksana Shevchuk of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University is a member of this council. During the meeting, participants discussed the development of the national open science policy, opportunities for cooperation with European projects and initiatives in the fields of open science and research assessment, the implementation of approaches to research data management and protection, key aspects of research reproducibility, and digital transformation.


The purpose of establishing the Coordination Council is to ensure coordinated actions aimed at implementing the principles of open science in Ukraine, developing the national open science infrastructure, and integrating Ukraine into the European Research Area.
