Chemistry That Surprises, Fascinates, and Inspires!
The Department of General Chemistry at Ternopil National Medical University warmly opened its doors to participants of the summer camp organized by the First Kyiv Foreign Language Courses School.

The young visitors embarked on an exciting journey into the world of chemical transformations led by Iryna Bekus, Associate Professor of the Department of General Chemistry. They were treated to vivid experiments, unexpected effects, colorful reactions, and plenty of scientific “magic” that, in reality, has a perfectly logical explanation.
The children enthusiastically observed the experiments, actively answered questions, put forward their own hypotheses, and genuinely rejoiced at every new discovery. This is exactly how an interest in science begins to develop—through wonder, curiosity, and a desire to explore the world.

Such events provide an excellent opportunity to demonstrate that chemistry is interesting, safe (when proper rules are followed), educational, and truly fascinating.
We sincerely thank our young guests for their genuine enthusiasm, active participation, and interest in science. We hope that this visit will leave them with pleasant memories and perhaps even become the first step toward their future profession.
