TNMU Celebrates Graduation of New Dentists

On June 25, 2026, I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University held a graduation ceremony for the Faculty of Dentistry in the Assembly Hall of the University’s Administrative Building.

The ceremony began with a minute of silence to honor all those who lost their lives defending Ukraine in the Russian-Ukrainian war. Among them were five graduates of the Faculty of Dentistry who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

The graduates received heartfelt congratulations and best wishes from the University’s distinguished faculty members. Professor Nataliia Hevkaliuk, Chair of the State Examination Board and Professor of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, Professor Petro Hasiuk, Head of the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry, Professor Yaroslav Nahirnyi, Head of the Department of Surgical Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Marta Zalizniak, Head of the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry, wished the newly qualified dentists confidence, professional success, and lifelong dedication to their chosen profession.

The official part of the ceremony continued with Associate Professor Liudmyla Patskan, Deputy Dean and Associate Professor of the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry, who announced the Rector’s official order conferring the qualification of Doctor of Dental Medicine upon the graduates.

The Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Associate Professor Svitlana Boitsaniuk, presented certificates of appreciation to graduates for their active participation in the blood donation movement and for promoting voluntary blood donation. The awards were presented to Anastasiia Demcheniuk, Dmytro Kereia, Artur Lehenchuk, Vladyslav Slobodyniuk, Anastasiia Potaichuk, Ivan Huliashchyi, Illia Nebos, Mykhailo Serediuk, and Oksana Handziuk.

The most significant and solemn moment of the ceremony was the recitation of the Physician’s Oath, which was delivered on behalf of the graduating class by Vladyslav Kens.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Mariana Bodnarchuk addressed the audience on behalf of all graduates, expressing sincere gratitude to the faculty members and parents for their unwavering support, guidance, knowledge, and encouragement throughout their years of study.

TNMU warmly congratulates the graduates of the Faculty of Dentistry and wishes them peaceful skies, a successful start to their professional careers, and outstanding achievements in advancing Ukraine’s healthcare system.
