TNMU Celebrates the Graduation of the Faculty of International Students

A graduation ceremony for the Faculty of International Students at I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University took place on June 25, 2026. The event marked the successful completion of a long and challenging journey of dedicated study and perseverance. It was also a celebration of the diversity of the university’s international community. Students from across the globe came to TNMU with dreams of becoming healthcare professionals, and on this special day, they graduated as qualified specialists. Graduates from India, Kenya, Nigeria, Pakistan, Poland, and the United States received their long-awaited diplomas.

The ceremony was officially opened by the Rector of TNMU, Professor Petro Likhatskyi, who emphasized the importance and responsibility of the medical profession.

Warm congratulations and best wishes for a successful professional future were extended by the Dean of the Faculty of International Students, Professor Mariia Marushchak.

Professor Petro Likhatskyi presented the Diploma with Honours to Andriana Malynovych in recognition of her outstanding academic achievements.

The diploma presentation ceremony continued under the guidance of Professor Mariia Marushchak.

The Vice Dean, Oksana Lebid, presented awards to graduates who demonstrated outstanding academic performance throughout their studies. The recipients were Azam Syed Mohd Anas, James Agnus, Gupta Ankeksh, Osagie Ewaen Osato, Hamish Walid Mohamed Abdulkadir, Sharma Mrigakshi, Dinesh Aniket, Manoj Krithika, Rudra Paul Kishan, and Sharma Diya.

Special awards were also presented to graduates who made significant contributions to the university community and student life.

Gupta Ankeksh received a certificate of appreciation for promoting the Ukrainian language and culture.

Andriana Malynovych was recognized for her active civic engagement, support for fellow students, and implementation of the “Medmayster” project.

Certificates of merit for their valuable contribution to student life were awarded to Mishra Satyam Ravishankar and Sharma Mrigakshi.

Certificates of appreciation for volunteer work, active support, and significant contributions to assisting Ukraine’s defenders were presented to Kaushik Kumar and Mishra Satyam Ravishankar.

A leadership certificate for outstanding organizational work and leadership within the student community was awarded to Azam Syed Mohd Anas.

The celebration concluded with the traditional tossing of graduation caps, heartfelt embraces, tears of joy, and numerous commemorative photographs. The graduates now embark on the next chapter of their lives as they take their first independent steps in medical practice.

The administration and academic staff of TNMU sincerely congratulate their new colleagues and wish them peaceful skies, successful careers, and many professional achievements in the years to come.
