The Faculty of Postgraduate Education of TNMU Successfully Completed the 2026 Internship Enrollment

The Faculty of Postgraduate Education at Ternopil National Medical University has completed the admissions campaign for the internship program. As of July 31, 2026, a total of 337 interns have been enrolled, including 132 funded by the state budget and 205 on a contractual basis.

Despite an overall adjustment in enrollment numbers compared to last year, the campaign showed positive growth in several areas. The number of interns in the specialties of “General Practice – Family Medicine” (from 10 to 16), “Orthopedics and Traumatology” (from 17 to 19), and “Infectious Diseases” (from 1 to 3) increased. For the first time in recent years, enrollment was opened in the specialty of “Ophthalmology” with 7 interns.

There remains consistently high interest in the specialties of “Dentistry” (61 people), “Internal Medicine” (47 people), and “Pharmacy” (90 people), demonstrating applicants’ trust in the quality of education at the faculty.
