TNMU and the University of Siedlce Sign Cooperation Agreement
On August 5, 2026, a delegation from I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University visited the University of Siedlce (Uniwersytet w Siedlcach, Poland), where the two institutions signed a cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening academic and scientific collaboration.

The TNMU delegation included Rector Petro Lykhatskyi, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, International Relations and European Integration Mykhailo Korda, and Head of the Research Management Office Oksana Shevchuk.

The agreement was signed on behalf of TNMU by Rector Petro Lykhatskyi and on behalf of the University of Siedlce by Vice-Rector for Innovation and Cooperation Malina Kaszuba. The document outlines key areas of partnership in the fields of medical and health sciences, including the implementation of joint research projects, student and faculty exchanges, as well as the organization of joint conferences and professional training programs.
During the visit, the TNMU representatives toured the University of Siedlce’s educational and research laboratories and held discussions with their Polish colleagues on prospects for future international research initiatives and opportunities to secure external funding for collaborative projects.

The Administration of TNMU expresses its sincere gratitude to Denys Voloshyn, Ambassador of Ternopil Region to the Republic of Poland, for his effective support of Ukraine and his valuable contribution to establishing contacts that foster the successful development of Ukrainian-Polish partnership.
